A couple of cuttings from local papers, about fatal accidents in November last year and March this year. Because of the huge number of people and vehicles in this area, there are bound to be several road deaths each year, but I do still wonder whether Birmingham City Council should bite the bullet and introduce a 30-mph speed limit on all the city's through routes, except for the few sections of expressway-style dual carriageways (e.g. parts of the A34 and A45).
